Since its inception in 1941 as a hub of cultural and civic activity, this storied facility has been a cornerstone of the community, transitioning gracefully to its current role as the South Tampa campus of the Jewish Community Center.

With reverence for its heritage, FleischmanGarciaMaslowski (FG+M) Architecture designed a modern grand entry, a portal to a world of possibilities. With an array of amenities and spaces dedicated to wellness, recreation, education, and culture, the energy of the events center, and the tranquil oasis of the aquatics center, every corner resonates with purpose.

Our design, crafted to honor the Secretary of Interior Standards for historic preservation, ensures that the Armory’s soul endures while embracing the community’s evolving needs.
