Fleischman Garcia Maslowski (FG+M) Architecture is working with the Tampa Metropolitan YCMA and Ellison Development on a master plan to redevelop the YMCA Tampa Heights properties into a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood.
The project includes 100,000 sq. ft. of retail space, with a portion dedicated to small, minority-owned businesses, 184,000 sq. ft. of office space, a 200-key hotel, 447 multi-family units with at least 10% dedicated to affordable housing, 1,444 parking spaces, and a 60,000 sq. ft. 4-story YMCA facility with an aquatic center, totaling nearly 1.2 million SF of space. The buildings are organized around a ‘green paseo’ at the end of Franklin Street, providing 20,000 sq. ft. of green public space centered around the wellness of residents, workers, and visitors. The Paseo provides an anchor point for the new development and a connection to the rest of Tampa.
