Sarasota County Area Transit

The new Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) Bus Transfer Station is located at the intersection of Bahia Vista and Cattlemen Road in Sarasota. The facility services local bus traffic, as well as Greyhound buses. The total area of platform and suspended canopy is approximately 8,400 sf. The station also includes an approximate 1,800 sf building with public restrooms, drivers lounge, and supervisors office. This facility is a USGBC-LEED Certified Building with many sustainable design features. The project funding was provided through several state and national transportation grants.
