The Seminole Electric Cooperative Headquarters Office Building is a two-story commercial office building located along Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. The building underwent comprehensive exterior and interior renovations. All the building’s exterior doors and windows were replaced with new store fronts, curtain walls, and hollow metal doors, all of which are specified to be not only hurricane wind resistant but large and small missile impact resistant as well. The existing standing seam metal roofing was completely removed, and new rigid ISO board insulation was installed throughout. The building was retrofit throughout with a new fire sprinkler system and fire alarm system, complete HVAC replacement, new emergency generator, all new interior lighting, plumbing fixtures, extensive new telecommunications equipment and cabling and new interior finishes throughout including flooring, walls, and ceiling systems. Complete renovation of the 800 SF lobby acted as the new centerpiece of the updated property.
