I am a Tampa native and earned my bachelor’s degree in interior design from the Art Institute of Tampa in 2013. During my final semester, I interned with FG+M and quickly fell in love with the industry and the exceptional team of professionals I had the privilege of working alongside. Upon graduation, I knew without hesitation that FG+M was where I wanted to begin my career, and I joined the firm as a CAD Technician. Now, just over a decade later, I am proud to be an Associate and lead the interior design team at our Tampa office. It has been an incredible journey.
What I find most fulfilling about this industry is the opportunity to connect with people. Everyone has a unique story; as designers, our role is to articulate that narrative through the spaces we create. This people-centric approach inspired me to lead our firm’s community engagement initiatives. Alongside four dedicated committee members, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that FG+M continues to serve the community that has supported us for over 50 years.
With our outreach efforts successfully established, I am now focusing inward. Achieving my NCIDQ certification was a longstanding goal that life often challenged, but I finally accomplished it. Now, I am eager to inspire and mentor our emerging talents as they navigate their paths toward licensure, certification, and professional memberships. We have a remarkable group of young professionals, and I aspire to play a role in their journeys, just as my mentors did for me.
