OUR COMMITMENT
FleischmanGarcia Maslowski (FG+M) signed the AIA 2030 Commitment to make ALL our projects sustainable by 2030! We commit to decarbonizing the future by implementing innovative, sustainable strategies that address climate change through our designs. As part of our commitment, we created a Sustainability Action Plan highlighting how we integrate sustainability into our design process at each phase.

With sustainability at our core, we create work that expresses shared values with the community, builds an environment that is welcoming and inclusive, meets the needs of our community, and embodies equity as the foundation of our designs.
I’ve long been passionate about sustainable design and became a LEED Accredited Professional early in my career. When I joined FG+M, I was excited to bring that experience into my work and get involved with the firm’s sustainability committee, where I advocate for environmentally responsible design strategies across our projects. At FG+M, we use a variety of tools to study, test, and refine our designs, helping us make informed decisions that improve occupant well-being, reduce long-term costs for owners, and lessen environmental impact—so our buildings give back to the communities they serve.
